Back in 2020, Justin and I had a dream — a piece of land where our kids could explore, where we could grow our own food, and where we could welcome people into something a little slower and a little sweeter than everyday life.
We took possession of our farm in early 2021 with no real clue what we were doing. Justin had the idea to start a flower farm, so the very first things we ever planted were a few rows of zinnia and cosmo seeds — sown by hand with family and friends, on a sunny afternoon. We had absolutely no idea we would still be doing this five years later.
In the summer of 2023, the McDougall Creek wildfire ripped through West Kelowna and took much of our farm with it — including our beloved heritage barn. Justin spent the next two years rebuilding — replanting trees, moving earth, restoring irrigation, putting the soul of this place back together. The flowers have been a steady thread through all of it. They are how we say thank you to this land, and to everyone who shows up for us, season after season.
A small flower farm is a group effort. Eleven Acres only works because of the people who pour their care into it, day after day. Meet the team.
The dreamer behind the brand. Jillian designs the bouquets in her head all winter, fusses over colour palettes, and is the first one to get teary when the peonies open. She is the creative heart of Eleven Acres.
The flower farm was Justin's idea back in 2020. He is the one moving earth, fixing what is broken, and keeping the dream on its feet. If something runs, leaks, or needs tilling, he is on it.
Jon has been with us for over five years. He mows, tills, runs the irrigation, and quietly does about a hundred other things that make this place hum. A good guy with a good heart — we would be lost without him.
Sarah runs the whole flower operation — she plants the seeds, weeds, pinches, deadheads, harvests, and delivers every bouquet with love. If you receive a bouquet from us, Sarah is the reason it is beautiful.

Nestled on eleven acres of blooming farmland and lakefront beauty, this is your invitation to host a wedding or event somewhere truly extraordinary - Jillian and Justin's private flower farm in the heart of the Okanagan.
This is a rare and deeply personal offering. For a limited window each year, from June 1 through October 1, we open the gates to a small handful of celebrations on a property that has been lovingly cared for. Depending on the season, you'll be surrounded by sweeping rows of roses, cosmos, lavender, and wildflowers in full bloom, with the lake and mountains as your backdrop.
The heart of it all is the iconic weeping willow - the very spot where Jillian and Justin said their vows, featured in Hello! Canada and People magazine. To stand beneath it on your own special day is to step into a place that holds real meaning, real history, and breathtaking, unforgettable views.
This is an exclusive, premium experience with very limited availability. Venue rental begins at $20,000, reflecting the rarity of the setting, the care required to maintain the property, and the opportunity to celebrate in one of the Okanagan's most unique private venues. We've chosen to keep these celebrations intimate and beautifully managed so that every detail honours the property and the people in it.
